Welcome to the Sacred Roots Retreat — a deeply transformative experience designed for indigenous and Latinxs women who wish to reconnect with their power, heal their lineage, and remember their sacred connection to Mother Earth.
Over 11 days in the heart of the Sacred Valley, we will walk together a path of healing, abundance, sisterhood, and spiritual awakening — remembering that healing one is healing all, that our healing is the healing of our ancestors and of our society.

Wachuma — The Sacred Medicine
During this gathering we will walk alongside the Sacred Medicine of Wachuma (San Pedro), a Master Plant, Guide, and Spirit that opens our hearts and helps us remember our unity with the Sacred Mother.
Through its loving wisdom, Grandfather/Grandmother Wachuma helps us release physical, emotional, and mental blockages, awakening the inner clarity that lives within each of us. Wachuma teaches us to see with the eyes of the heart, to listen to the language of the Earth, and to heal from the root — remembering that our true medicine is born from love. Like Ayahuasca, Wachuma helps us release traumatic knots from the past by reclaiming our power and opening our hearts.
Our Intentions
During the retreat we will walk with the intention of:

Revaluing ourselves and opening to abundance without fear.
Returning to daily life with rest, clarity, and purpose.
Honoring the wisdom of the body — womb, heart, breath, and movement.
Remembering that we are medicine women, carriers of light, love, and transformation
This retreat is open to women with a spirit of transformation, committed to love, justice, and collective healing.
Themes & Main Activities
Over these 11 days we will immerse ourselves in a deep process of transformation, reconnection, and heart expansion.
Core Experiences:
3 Wachuma Ceremonies — ancestral medicine that guides us toward the heart and union with Mother Earth.
Sound journey.
Word circles and sisterhood — intimate spaces to share, release, and be heard.
Trauma Sensitive Yoga and conscious movement — to inhabit the body with presence, softness, and strength.
Art practices.
Support group, sisterhood, and feminine community before and after the retreat

- 3 Somatic Integration sessions with Janeth (1–1.5 hours each)
- Nature walk and meditation with a microdose of Wachuma (individual or group)
- Daily reflection prompts and guidance to continue your process with clarity and presence

Who We Are — Guides & Facilitators
Mirian Janeth – Ecuador / Peru / United States
Medicine woman, Mindfulness teacher, Entrepreneur
Mirian Janeth Jaramillo is the founder of Pachanoi Earth Medicine Retreats and Vida Wellness Center in Pisac, Peru. For over 15 years she has walked the path of master plants, and for more than a decade she has guided and facilitated Ayahuasca and Wachuma ceremonies in close relationship with indigenous teachers from the Peruvian Amazon.
She is a Mindfulness and Meditation teacher, trained with teachers such as Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach, and has participated in intensive silent retreats of two and three months in the United States and Myanmar. Her work integrates embodiment practices, Polyvagal Theory, and trauma-informed approaches, supporting people in reconnecting with the wisdom of the body and understanding their life experience through presence and awareness.
Ecuadorian by birth and a resident of Peru for over 15 years, her mission is to create safe and ethical healing spaces where the ancestral wisdom of sacred plants meets contemporary mindfulness tools. Her guidance is born from the body, the heart, and a living, respectful relationship with Mother Earth.
Evy – México / United States
Medicine woman in training, attorney
Evy is an attorney, indigenous woman (Wixarika), and advocate for Latino communities in the United States, dedicating her life to social justice, collective healing, and the support of her people. She grew up as an undocumented immigrant and survived much violence within and outside her family lineage. Those experiences led her to become a student of yoga, Tibetan meditation, and neuropsychological treatment, and to work with plants such as ayahuasca and wachuma.
Her spiritual path has led her to deepen her healing, reconnect with her roots, and embrace heart medicine — integrating her ancestral strength with feminine wisdom.
With a compassionate and grounded presence, she accompanies processes of transformation guided by love, the spirit of liberation, inner truth, and community.
Our Sisterhood
Janeth and Evy met several years ago at an ayahuasca retreat. Since then they have walked together as sisters, sharing healing, learning, and the expansion of consciousness.
The Raíces Sagradas retreat was born from their own transformation and from the desire to share the love, medicine, and wisdom both have received from the Earth, their lineages, and life itself.
Their intention is to give their whole hearts so that each participant lives an authentic, safe, and deeply healing experience.

Our Mission
We created Raíces Sagradas to offer a transformative space for Latina and indigenous women — where, through ancestral medicine, embodiment practices, and connection with the Earth, each participant can remember her inner wisdom, heal her roots, and awaken her feminine strength.
